About The Provider
Amirreza Fatehi, MD, is an orthopedic hand surgeon and assistant professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions and injuries affecting the hand, wrist, arm and upper extremity.
Dr. Fatehi received his medical degree from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in Iran before emigrating to the United States. He completed a two-year hand surgery research fellowship at Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin, followed by fellowships in hand and upper extremity surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, musculoskeletal oncology at Georgetown University, orthopedic pediatric surgery at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, and hand and upper extremity surgery at WellSpan York Hospital.
Dr. Fatehi joined the faculty at UMKC in 2025. He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and has delivered more than 20 presentations at international conferences.
