About The Provider
Maxwell Lanham is a physician assistant at University Health with a special interest in weight management, nutrition, diabetes, and endocrinology, as well as LGBTQ+ services and transgender care. He emphasizes the value of collaborative care between patient and provider to help individuals achieve their personal health goals and improve overall health and well-being.
Maxwell completed his physician assistant training at the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC), earning his Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant (MMSPA) degree in 2022. He remains actively involved with the UMKC PA program as a member of the curriculum committee and serves as a clinical preceptor and guest lecturer.
