Natasha R. Acosta, MD

Dr. Natasha Acosta is a highly skilled and dedicated double board-certified medical professional in the fields of Radiology and Neuroradiology. She completed her radiology residency training at the University of Missouri, Kansas City in 2007, followed by subspecialty training in Neuroradiology at the University of Colorado, Denver in 2008. She has been a full time practicing Neuroradiologist at University Health since 2008.

She has had multiple leadership and academic appointments throughout her career.  She served as President of the Greater Kansas City Radiological Society in 2016-2017.  She was the Associate Program Director for the UMKC Radiology Residency Program from 2011-2017, and was reappointed to the same role in 2023. She is an Assistant Professor in Radiology at UMKC and currently serves as Chair of the Clinical Competency Committee for the radiology residency program at UMKC.

With a passion for diagnostic imaging and patient care, Dr. Acosta has extensive experience in interpreting complex medical images and providing accurate diagnoses. Her expertise spans across various imaging modalities, including CT and MRI, with a special focus in neurological conditions. In close collaboration with the entire neurology team and as a leader in resident education, Dr. Acosta is committed to advancing the field through continuous learning and research, ensuring the highest standards of care for her patients.
