Rubina Ratnaparkhi, MD

Dr. Rubina Ratnaparkhi is a fellowship-trained gynecologic oncologist at University Health, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of cancers affecting the female reproductive system.

Dr. Ratnaparkhi completed her medical education at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, followed by residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Stanford University and fellowship training in gynecologic oncology at the University of Kansas. 

Her clinical and research interests include gynecologic cancer treatment, cancer prevention and screening, clinical trial access, palliative care, and improving the delivery of evidence-based care. Her research has examined opportunities for community delivery of cancer care, improving follow-up care for cervical pre-cancers, interventions to improve patient quality-of-life, and disparities in use of palliative care.

Dr. Ratnaparkhi is committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive care while partnering with and empowering patients to navigate their diagnosis and treatment. She brings a patient-centered approach to gynecologic oncology and a passion for improving access to high-quality cancer care.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Ratnaparkhi enjoys practicing yoga, cooking, hiking, attending jazz concerts, solving crossword puzzles and spending time with her husband, sons, and dog, Gemma.
